Sick for...maybe 2 weeks now. And finally, FINALLY, I have started to get better a bit. (All of my various symptoms included sore throat, cough, phlegm, runny nose, sneezing, tiredness, feeling sick and weak all over my entire body...) Now I have cough (but less!) and phlegm (but less!) and less sneezing & barely any runny nose. Ahhh...the slow path of recovery. I've consumed a loooot of lozenges these past 2 weeks. (Ricola!! The best kind. My favorite kind since ALWAYS.) And couch medicine. Well, that one blackish-brown syrupy sweet delicious Asian cough medicine that I know as "Gee-beh-goh." The one that's in a red and white box. It's well known amongst other Asians. It's a thing! I just don't know the Chinese name for it. (It's something like,...Pe Koa....or something...)
Rumer has a really nice/pleasant singing voice. Very soothing/ relaxing.
And the thing that I put in the Reading description...Well, someone posted a Wiki link in response to something else not exactly related. Anyway, it surprised me that there was actually a Wiki article on it! I was like...What the...? You mean...when kids....And it's thought to be HEALTHY somehow?!! What?! (Well, I read further, and some believe that the supposed health benefit lies in the phlegm of the nostrils catching and then killing (or rendering otherwise harmless) the germs and bacteria that fly into our nostrils on a regular basis, and that this weakened germ, when ingested, is like when you get a shot for immunization (You know, for like, TB or Polio, I guess.), your body can fight this weaker form of the germ (and beat it, of course, and you DON'T die.) and your body will always recognize it (each weakened snot-encased germ.) It's like collecting Pokemon cards...or Pokemon...? Once you have it, you'll always know what it is. It'll never be a question-mark [to your body's immune system.]
And I started trying to catch up on 2 Broke Girls. I SO have not been up-to-date on it. I'm on like, the 3rd episode of season 2 now. Max is still my favorite, of course. I love grumpy, sassy characters. Max Black/ Kat Dennings, Grumpy Cat, Aubrey Plaza.
